We’re Halfway Through July Already

Happy Tuesday, Sacred Place family!

I’m writing you from somewhere much chillier than usual as I’m working from the bleachers at Anaheim Ice where the youngest Redrich is doing hockey camp this week. It’s definitely refreshing compared to the hot temperature outside.

This coming Sunday is our second Summer Special Sunday. These are a new way for us to do small groups at Sacred Place. They are different from our usual Sunday gatherings as they focus on more discussion and conversation. Bryan will facilitate an in-depth look at the creation story from Genesis 1. We introduced our summer series, Creation Care with this text, so now you’ll get a chance to dive a bit deeper. Using the resources from our friends at BibleWorm brings a practical yet scholarly perspective, from those who have studied these texts even deeper than I have.

I hope you will make an effort to be there. I look forward to hearing about it when I return from vacationing with my family visiting from Texas.

Up next after Sumer Special Sunday is our monthly Mission Sunday. The focus this month is Justice. You’ll get more details in our next update on Friday.
