Listen to Grace
Friday, March 21, 2025
Hey Sacred Place Family,
Even though I’m away this week, I wanted to take a moment to say how grateful I am for this community. As we continue journeying through Lent, I hope you’re finding moments of reflection, connection, and grace. This Sunday is Mission Sunday, a time to focus on inclusion and the ways we live out God’s love in tangible ways.
I’ll be holding you all in my thoughts this Sunday from afar and look forward to seeing you soon.
With love,
Pastor Matthew

Community Updates from Bryan
What’s going on in the world around us?
Mission Sunday - Listening to Grace: Being heard when you are "the other".
Join us this Sunday as we look at how we make room for the people around us. No matter who we are, or where we are in life, everyone has experienced a time when we have felt like we didn't fit in - like we didn't belong. How do we respond when we feel like the outsider? How do we respond when we encounter others who feel like they don't fit. We'll be taking a look at some of the ways Jesus made room for others and outsiders, and considering how his example can shape how we do the same.
Family Dinner
This month, our Family Dinner will be on March 26, 2025. join us at 5:30 PM at the Mission Center for a casual evening of food and conversation. We have no agenda, but I'd like to chat about the things that we consider Sacred, and they’re important to us.
We want this to become a recurring event where we can gather and chat about life, check in, and better understand how we can support each other. These events are casual. If you would like to join us, please email me and let me know you're coming (so we're sure we can prepare enough food).
I haven't heard from anyone yet who will be attending. Please RSVP to me via email by Tuesday at 12 PM PDT. If we don't receive any RSVPs we will reschedule dinner to a later date. I'll send an update on Tuesday to let you all know if we reschedule.
