June 22, 2025, Mission Sunday at Sacred Place

Good morning, Sacred Place Family,

This Sunday is Mission Sunday! We’ll be gathering at our usual times, with coffee and snacks at 10:30 AM, and our planned discussion and activity starting at 11 AM.

Our focus this week is how our church’s core values—Justice, Inclusion, and Family—intersect with Pride Month, our scripture reading (Jeremiah 18:1–11), and what meaningful outreach looks like in the world we live in right now. We’ll be exploring what it means to be shaped by God’s love and called into compassionate action. There’s even a colorful little activity planned that I hope will add a bit of fun and imagination to our time together.

Also, a quick correction: I mentioned last week that Pastor Matthew would be returning this Sunday, but I was off by a week—he’ll actually be back next Sunday (June 29). Thanks for your grace with the mix-up.

I hope you’ll join us on Sunday if you’re able. Come as you are, bring a friend if you’d like, and let’s imagine how we can use the tools and resources around us to help shape a more loving world.
