Ooof. This year’s flu is brutal.

I am back in the office, and catching up after several days in bed with a high fever. 100% do not recommend.

Thankfully, I am recovered enough just in time for our busiest week of the year as we prepare to welcome the Christ Child in just 6 days!!!

There are three gatherings from which you can choose to attend, all or none, the choice is yours. Details below.

Our office is closed December 25, 2024–January 1, 2025, and there is no gathering on Sunday, December 29. Worship At Home materials will be sent out that week.

I hope you will join us for at least one of our holiday week gatherings. Hope, peace, joy, and love be with you!

I hope to see you soon,
Pastor Matthew

A Night of Hope

As the longest night of the year approaches, A Night of Hope invites you into a sacred space of reflection, comfort, and renewal. The holiday season, often celebrated as the most joyful time of the year, can also be a season of deep grief, loneliness, or quiet longing. This special gathering honors both the beauty and the complexity of this time.

Through candle lighting, prayer, meditative music, and moments of stillness, we will create space to hold our memories, our struggles, and our hopes. Together, we’ll reflect on the light which shines even in the darkness, a light which reminds us that we are not alone.

Whether you are grieving a loved one, feeling overwhelmed by the season, or simply longing for a moment of peace, A Night of Hope offers an evening to find comfort, connection, and restoration.

Join us in this gentle, contemplative gathering as we hold one another in love and hope.

Love on the Horizon

On this final Sunday of Advent, we anticipate the Love that is coming into the world. Mary’s song of hope and promise reminds us of God’s transformative power. As we await the birth of Jesus, we invite you to reflect on the promise of love that changes everything. Let’s prepare together for the light of Christ to break through!

Christmas Eve by Candlelight

Join us for a peaceful and reflective Christmas Eve service by candlelight. As we gather in the warmth of community, we’ll celebrate the birth of Christ with Scripture readings, carols, and the soft glow of candlelight. This special evening invites us to pause, reflect, and rejoice in the arrival of the Light of the World. Come as you are and experience the beauty of this holy night as we prepare our hearts for the joy and hope of Christmas. All are welcome! We’ll have cookies, hot chocolate, and cider before we gather.
